Movie Review: The Roommate (2011)

The Roommate is supposed to be a thriller, but, it's entirely too slow and bland to be that. No. It's more like a cold, bitter cup of coffee.

Psychotic college student Rebecca "Becca" is obsessed with her roommate Sara, but, Sara is oblivious to this fact even after friends warn of Rebecca's odd behavior.

However, Sara really knows of the obsession once Rebecca drags her out of the dorm for a tattoo and Sara finds out that the tattoo she's gotten bears the name of Emily. Emily is the name of Sara's sister, who passed away when Sara was only nine.

See, this is why getting Emily's name tattooed on Rebecca's body is so weird. Way weird. Creepy. Invasive. Blech.

In fact, blech pretty much sums up this film.

Blech.
