Ted, a recent med school graduate, acquires an internship in the pathology unit of a Philadelphia hospital. There he quickly finds his co-workers have some pathological problems themselves.

Milo Ventimiglia (Ted), Michael Weston (Jake), Alyssa Milano (Gwen), Lauren Smith (Juliette), Johnny Whitworth (Griffin), John de Lancie (Dr. Morris), Mei Melancon (Catherine), Keir O'Donnell (Ben), Larry Drake (Fat Bastard),

Pathology starts off a bit slow with some character development but quickly moves to the plot. The reveal in this one happens quickly, while the horror lasts a nice long time. Toward the end some action is thrown in just to make things a bit more exciting. And in the end we are left to wonder; What really happens in medical schools?

Acting was decent with Ventimiglia doing a fair job in the lead. Weston made a great antagonist and was perfectly cast. Milano was amusing but not much more, while Lancie delivered as always. The remainder of the supporting cast did nicely and added depth to the film.

Camera work was good however the dark theme of the film, while psychologically good for a horror film possibly, is just plain depressing after a while. Sets and backgrounds were solid. Effects were nicely done with a realistic feel throughout. Dialogue was enjoyable and flowed well. Sound and soundtrack were both good.

Overall Pathology is an enjoyable psychological thriller with an entertaining plot, decent acting, and fair production quality. Genre fans who don't mind some blood and gore will enjoy this the most.

With plenty of blood, gore, gruesome images, nudity, sexual content, drug use, foul language, perverse behavior and, okay you get the point. Save this one for adults.
