On April 18, Motörhead played their brand of heavy rock ‘n’ roll to a fan-filled Warfield theatre in San Francisco. After a new album and a health scare for band originator and leader Lemmy Kilmister in 2013, Motörhead is on tour now and stopped in San Francisco to play the fifth show of their 2014 tour. Motörhead is Lemmy Kilmister (bass/ vocals), Phil Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums).
As in typical Motörhead fashion, Lemmy and the guys played the hits along with a new song from their album “Aftershock”.
1. Damage Case
2. Stay Clean
4. Over The Top
(Phil Campbell guitar solo)
5. The Chase Is Better Than The Catch
6. Rock It
7. Lost Woman Blues (From the new album “Aftershock”)
8. Doctor Rock (Mikkey Dee drum solo)
9. Just ‘Cos You Got The Power
10. Going To Brazil
11. Killed By Death
12. Ace Of Spades
Motörhead has been a big influence on all sorts of rock and heavy metal bands from the 1980s to the bands of today. Throughout his career in Motörhead, Lemmy Kilmister never followed music trends and never wavered from his mission of creating and playing hard rock and heavy metal. If you are a fan of heavy metal, hard rock or rock n’ roll, a live Motörhead show is an experience you need to have.
