Modern retro fever: Emilio Pucci 2013 Fall Ready to Wear collection (Photos)

Eric Dundas of Emilio Pucci came out swinging with the 2013 Ready to Wear collection that debuted during Milan Fashion Week. Emilio Pucci has always been known for sexy and luxurious women's clothing, and this collection is an even sexier addition. Dundas is known for saying that the brand is clothing that women want to wear, and men want to take off. He clearly had this in mind with the current collection, as it was full of all the things men desire and women crave in fashion.

The classic Pucci symbol was incorporated into this collection in the form of beautiful belted tunics, and minis. Multicolored dresses and tunics danced throughout the collection, memorable of the late 60s and early 70s, which Dundas referenced as his inspiration, with Anita Pallenberg, Britt Ekland, and Angie Bowie in mind as muses. Who better to cite for inspiration than these groovy fashionistas? Emilio Pucci also kept classic black styles in the collection for added sophistication. Black coats were paired with multicolored minis, black bodycon dresses were a great presence, and stylish black leather shorts were standouts in the collection. Beaded tshirts were paired with minis for an edgy, street style, and embellished bodycon dresses were abundant on the runway.

Dondas incorporated turtlenecks and elegant outerwear into the collection, perfect for Fall, and a great transition into Winter. Belted cape styled coats were paired with thigh high suede boots, giving the look even more of a 70s vibe. The contrast of prints was a clever style for the collection, mixing wild bold prints with classic black. This collection was very modern, yet still maintained just enough of a retro touch.
