MisterWives & The Mowgli's

On a Sunday night in New Orleans, you can find good music almost anywhere. But if you were looking for the next big thing, the House of Blues New Orleans was the place to be on this particular night.

MisterWives is a refreshing band with a lead female vocalist who is this generation's Gwen Stefani. The band has an infusion of sounds that call out to pop sensibilities, rock beats, and a vocalist that is nothing short of ethereal. Mandy Lee, the petite and vivacious lead singer, mesmerizes and emits star quality, connecting with each member of the crowd as if each person were in her living room.

Southern California self-proclaimed "indie, gospel, folk, love-rock" group The Mowgli's took the stage promptly at 9 pm. The Mowgli's are on the brink of explosion with their newest single, "San Francisco", giving off a peace and love vibe to the whole crowd with every harmony. "Do you feel the love?" They sang. And the crowd answered by dancing and singing along to every word.

This is the kind of special tour where you can say you saw them before they were big. They'll be on tour through the end of April. Get a full list of tour dates here.
