Miley Cyrus sang at the VMA's last night and it was a performance to remember. However, it will not go down in history as a performance of excellence or even that it was something good.
The social networks were going crazy with comments and polls commenting about her performance. Most people were left feeling awkward and confused as she danced around wearing a teddy bear teddy costume. She was surrounded by dancing teddy bears that followed her around while she continuously touched herself.
Now, we are all use to performances on MTV that may be provocative so this was no shock. And yes, she is of age now so we understand that she is no longer a child singer and performer.
That being said this performance was left you feeling like you saw something that you just don't understand. Was Miley trying to be punk as she stuck out her tongue every five minutes? Or was she trying to be sexy with her small outfit and odd sexual gestures.
It was like a child that was overacting. Mileys drive to try to be considered as someone provocative and sexy turned out to be something just wired. Portraying yourself as sexy doesn't mean that you put on a skimpy outfit and allow people to hump you from behind during performance. Sexy start's in the mind.
It's how you carry yourself, your confidence and there is a huge difference from being consider sexy and being considered sluty.
So, what do you think of her performance? Was it awkward or sexy?
