The villages of Midsomer County are once again filled with murders. This wonderful crime series is once again coming to you on DVD. Series 8 and 9 are filled with wonderful stories of village life and the the people that live in them. Unfortunately, it is not all that peaceful at times.

Detective Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and his assistants Sergeant Dan Scott (John Hopkins) and Detective Constable Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) don't let too much get by them. You see they always get their murderer. You may not see the twists and turns right away and you may think that you know who done it, but then all of sudden you are turned a different way.

Take for instance in the show "The House in the Woods" you won't see the ending coming until late in the show. That old 18th century home that has seen so much tragedy over the years. You almost think it might be haunted.

The show has some of the best guests like Jane Wymark , Laura Howard, Harriet Walter, Sian Phillips, and Julia McKenzie. 'Midsomer Murders' has been bringing us these enjoyable mysteries over the years, and Series 8 and 9 are some of the best.

This box set includes 16 mysteries along with interviews featuring John Nettles and Jason Hughes. This enjoyable DVD is brought to us by Acorn. Acorn brings us all of those wonderful British mysteries and PBS shows.

The quality of the DVD is excellent. The sounds and visuals are perfect and you will love those wonderful English Villages and Countryside.

The DVD set will be available on April 15, 2014 at your local stores. This is one of those sets that you will want for your library. So once again 'Midsomer Murders' is coming to your living room with all that it has brought over the years, murder, mystery, and magic. so don't let this one pass you by and head out next week and enjoy .
