This out of the way English Village has a number of murder mysteries that for years has enthralled viewers. Detective Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and Sergeant Troy (Daniel Casey) are at it once again. Solving the odd murder and making sure there is no second guessing as to who the murderer was. The odd characters of the stories makes this series more interesting every time you see it.

The pair of men carry out the leg work of each murder and look for each tedious clue. The surroundings of the village adds to the character of the show. Tom Barnaby is one of the nicest detectives you will ever see in a murder mystery. He is simply looking for the truth. He is not going to rough up anybody to get to the truth. He is going to use English manners and values to do so. He is going to make the murderer simply come clean if only to clear one's conscious.

His Sergeant is one of the most diligent men in following the order given. He goes above and beyond to have the information that Barnaby needs.

Midsomer Murders Series 6 is wonderfully done. The DVD work on sound and visual makes this one of the finest of quality to watch. You are intrigued from the moment you begin watching. Acorn TV released the DVD set on January 7, 2014. It is available as we speak for your entertainment pleasure.

Midsomer Murders has been one of the best shows coming out of England for many years. It is always an interesting murder mystery for one to enjoy. It has some of the best backdrop scenery of rural England. It has some of the best actors on British television in all it's episodes. It is still in production and more DVDs will be coming soon. So sit back and enjoy and watch a beautiful program.
