Method makes doing laundry somewhat pleasant

Method Spring Collection

I don’t like doing laundry. I admit it. I don’t like gathering it, carrying it down two flights of stairs, separating it, hanging it outside/putting it in the dryer, or folding it and putting it away. The added bonus is that I am allergic to most laundry detergent which makes the process of doing laundry even less desirable because I have had to rewash many loads of clean clothes after wearing one item from the load and breaking out in hives. Method to the rescue! Their detergent is one of two that I have found that I am not allergic to while simultaneously not containing animal products or testing on animals and being mindful of our environment.

I love all Method products I've ever used because they work and they smell nice. They recently sent me their newest laundry detergent to try in the Sunset Breeze scent. It’s 8 times concentrated and in a pump style bottle which means no measuring. Just four pumps and that is all you need for fresh, clean clothes that smell a little like the suntan oil I used to bake in as a teenager. That scent always reminds me of the beach. As an adult it also reminds me a little bit of pina coladas. The bottle itself is recyclable, too. And if you like the scent as much as I do, it also comes in their dryer-activated fabric softener spray (another product of theirs that I love). They sell refills for their detergent too, so you can reuse your bottle.

They also sent me their Lime + Salt dish washing soap. It’s in the same cool style bottle as their laundry detergent which I love because as it’s gotten down to the bottom I don’t have to hold the bottle upside down as with conventional dish washing soap containers and wait for the soap to come to the top. With the pump it’s already there. It’s super concentrated and smells a little like key lime pie; only a partial pump on a sponge is plenty. Refills available in dish soap, too!

Method also makes body wash and I was able to try the Orange Ginger Sorbet scent which I loved. Aside from rinsing clean and smelling nice, one of the best things about it is that it doesn't smell girly enough that my boyfriend can’t use it. We both like it a lot and as with everything else Method, a tiny little bit goes a very long way.

As if the great scents and earth and animal friendliness weren't enough, Method is now donating 15% of sales from to Best Friends Animal Society. How nice is that?!
