Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Demo Review

Many of you may have heard or even played Kojima’s famous, expertly done and executed game series “Metal Gear” and “Metal Gear Solid”. Each of these game series are stealth games whose story-lines intertwine together to tell one beautiful and emotional story that would keep anyone on their toes.

However, Kojima has decided to step away from the stealth and go into a new direction: Pure action gaming. It is in the form of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance which is based on Raidens story two years after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots. Even though some of the reactions have been strongly against such a new form and others not sure yet, the majority though is of good report and many have already preorder the game.

A demo for the game has been released on PlayStation 3 and on Xbox 360, a first for the Metal Gear series as it has been a PlayStation exclusive title. The demo features a nice but short tutorial you may do but the action filled gameplay and beautifully smooth motion of the entire game itself makes up for the short tutorial.

The story mode in the demo lets you play a beginning part of the story where you are introduced to some new characters and have to complete a mission and of course along the way defeat some bad guys. I won’t say much as it would spoil a lot about the demo.

Simply said, this demo features a lot of action that will keep your blood pumping and it will dazzle you and your eyes with how fluent it is. This is best played for you to see it and to experience it all yourself. Over all, I give Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance the demo a well deserved and easily earned 5/5 stars.

So, will you download the demo on PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Arcade and try it? Why or why not? Leave a comment in the comment section below and I’ll reply as soon as I can. Thanks for reading.
