McLoone's McBetter

This was our third visit to McLoone's Boathouse in West Orange (http://www.mcloonesboathouse.com/) and we are happy to report a much improved situation. The occasion was a private party, held in a semi-private room, off to the side of the entrance. Food was excellent, service unobtrusive but always there, and we really have very little to say that isn't a top review. Only comment ... the party room should be more private, as the live band in the room adjacent to the bar was too loud, and drowned out conversation at our party. Easy fix, small item, when compared with the filet mignon entrée, which was quite nicely prepared and tender. Worth a try to go back for lunch, and see how the tables are faring.
