When the thin and light Shirtless undershirt first arrived, it was the focus of much skepticism. Why would someone want a shirt that is clearly half the shirt of all the other shirts in the undershirt drawer? Right out of the package, the Shirtless undershirt has the look of that old favorite that you just don’t have the heart to toss out. The answers, however, become quite clear once you spend a day in it.
Shirtless recommends choosing one size down from your regular size in order to get the perfect, undetectable fit. Though skeptical, I went along with their suggestion, and I am glad I did. At first, slipping into one of these shirts seems all wrong. These 100% Pima Cotton shirts are thin and light, almost gauzy, and, quite frankly, unlike any other undershirt I have ever seen for sale. The Shirtless undershirt really comes into its own worn under another shirt. These shirts simply disappear under other garments. There’s never any extra material bunching up in unwanted places because there’s essentially no extra material anywhere on these shirts. A simple solution to an age-old problem.
To further minimize this shirt, Shirtless incorporated raglan sleeves and a nice wide neck opening, and they got rid of all the trim pieces that usually end up deformed and ragged. What you get when you buy one of these shirts is everything you would want out of an undershirt and none of the things you don’t need. Shirtless will help you keep that crisp look you worked so hard to execute by being invisible all day long.
