Since its opening Thanksgiving weekend, audiences and critics alike have fallen in love with Disney’s “Frozen.” It’s a fantastic adventure when fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Not only did “Frozen” cross the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office to become Disney highest grossing animated film, but it also surpassed The Lion King’s worldwide gross of $987.4M. On the same day the film reached the $1 billion mark, Disney’s “Frozen” also won two Academy Awards® including Best Animated Feature and Original Song (“Let it Go”).

Come March 18th, fans (young and old) will have the chance to fall in love with Disney’s “Frozen” all over again with the much-anticipated release of the film on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD & On Demand. Pre-order now on

In the meantime, kids can still have some “Frozen” fun and relive the memories of this beautiful film with these wonderful and exciting toys from Mattel. Girls will fall in love with the Musical Magic Anna doll and the Musical Magic Elsa doll. Both dolls are dressed in adorable fashions like what they wore in the film. The best feature about the dolls is the fact that when you hold Anna or Elsa’s hand, they magically light up and play music inspired by the film. Best of all, when you join Anna's hands with Elsa’s they both light up and play a song together!! You instantly feel their sisterly love just like in the film!

For even more fun check out Mattel’s Disney Frozen Magical Lights Palace, which comes with a small Elsa and Olaf doll. I love the design of this wintry castle with its cool blues and translucent touches for an icy appearance. When you open the set the rooms are raised to create three distinct play spaces. There’s a grand regal bedroom, royal-ready throne room and a lookout balcony for Olaf the snowman.

The real magic begins with the push of a button. Press the gem in the base of the set, and watch a spellbinding lightshow! Colorful lights flow through the castle for an enchanting effect. For even more fun, turn the castle tower to hide Elsa behind her “ice” curtain; then turn it again for a dramatic entrance or a surprise reveal.

My daughter had a blast with this toy. She loved recreating scenes from the film with the castle especially playing with Olaf, everyone’s favorite most lovable snowman. What made the whole experience even more real for my little girl is when she put on the soundtrack and played “Let it Go.” She was having so much fun pretending to be Elsa.

As the majority of the population, we can’t wait for the film to come out next week but until then we are having a blast with our Frozen toys from Mattel. All toys are available at Walmart and
