Maste Bike Shop has just reopened in a new location. This shop has always been better known for its exeptional quality of service than its size, as the old location on West 77th Street was hardly large enough to store a dozen rental bikes and a repairs stand.
As of a couple of weeks ago, Master Bike Shop moved to a better and larger location on West 72nd Street. Imbert Jimenez, the owner, has been a local favorite mechanic, somewhat of a "neighborhood secret" on the Upper West Side. With the new location and larger operation, he has expanded the shop to be a full-service sales, rental and repair store. Mr. Jimenez is dedicated to maintaining his shop's integrity and quality of service, the very reason for his longtime success, and extend it to sales. The store's location is perfect for renting a bike, as it is half a block from Riverside Park, two blocks from Central Park and one block from the train station on West 72nd Street.
