Ambiance and class, Indian style

At night, Masala features South Indian thali specialties, vegetarian, chicken, and lamb. Served traditionally, each comes with bread--either naan or roti--and rice. Of all the chicken special entrees, the butter chicken is absolutely mouthwatering. Korma, a coconut cream sauce, can be served with veggies or with chicken. The Biryani specialties include Basmati rice with vegetables, shrimp, chicken, lamb, or the Kashmiri style.

Linen tablecloths drape the tables, some of which are tucked beneath arches. A small bar is near the front of the restaurant. The great, welcome surprise is the attentive, genuinely courteous waitstaff.
