dermaviduals has devised a concealer that works wonders to hide redness! This green-tinged concealer stick will flatter any skin tone. It’s meant for hiding, small, scattered imperfections such as acne scars. The best part is dermaviduals Cover and Conceal does all this without emphasizing large blemishes.
For the heaviest coverage, apply the concealer stick directly to your reddest imperfections. Use your fingertips, a brush, or a sponge to blend. (Tip: Tapping works better rubbing.)
For covering small—even tiny—scattered acne scars or pimples, use a small eye shadow, concealer, or liquid foundation brush. Brush against the concealer stick first. (Tip: The more concealer on the brush, the heavier the coverage.) Press the brush repeatedly on each individual spot until it is concealed to your liking. The smaller the brush, the better. Why? Remember, too much green—especially on areas that are not red—will show through the powder and make you look like an alien.
You can also shave off pieces of the concealer to blend with your serum/face lotion. Experiment to determine which method works best for you.
Don’t worry about the pale olive tint left on your skin. Once powder foundation is brushed/blended on, no one will be able to tell. (Tip: Translucent powder works beautifully. However, colored powder such as Jane Iredale PurePressed Base is recommended for heavier coverage.)
Versus Jane Iredale Disappear Concealer
Jane Iredale Disappear Concealer is great for heavy, opaque coverage. Yet, the concealer makes any and all textural imperfections—especially large blemishes—look worse. My breakouts are much less severe as of late, so I could live with the concealer. However, the improvements my skin has made were the reason why I chose to try something new. All I want to do is hide acne scars.
I was ecstatic to give dermaviduals Cover and Conceal a try. Though a big-time Jane Iredale fan, I am greatly indebted to dermaviduals’ role in the recovery of my skin, which was chemically damaged years ago. dermaviduals products can always be trusted for sensitive skin. In fact, my skin has cleared up even more since I switched concealers!
