12/17/11 Mentor On The Lake, OH.
Let it be known that Makayla Dawn who was slated to be the opener act for this past Saturday nights concert at the Livewire in Mentor On The Lake, OH was converted to show headliner. Yes, they headlined for LA Guns. Seemed that there was a problem with time slots and LA Guns went on at 11pm. thus moving Makayla Dawn's time slot to after the Guns performed.
For those lucky enough to stick around to hear Makayla Dawn they were indeed given a treat. This band, hands down sounded better than any of the other bands performing that night. For a three piece band they totally gave it their all and the audience fed off it. MD had more time to perform so they were able to pull out a few extra songs from their arsenal. From the first note to the very last note I as well as the hundreds in attendance that night were along with this band for the ride. A great performance with outstanding musicians.
I would highly recommend that if you ever see this band on any bill that you go way out of your way to check out this trio from Youngstown. It will definitely be well worth it!
Also on the bill that night was Osyrus, Line of Defense, Dead Vinyl, and LA Guns.
