MAC Cosmetics continually provides consumers with wonderful options in beauty. The limited edition collections are always unique, and feature a fantastic array of shades. One of the newest collections is the MAC Strength collection which features bold shades that are certain to garner attention, and will empower women.
There are two eyeshadow quads that were released in the collection. The Inner Strength Eye Shadow Quad was reviewed, and they retail for $40. The eyeshadow quad includes four shades: Lithe Spirit, Inner Strength, Fabulous Fit and Heatherbelles. The highly pigmented powder formula applies evenly, blends and builds beautifully. These shades are perfect for the spring season, and have a lovely consistency. The other eyeshadow quad released in the collection is called All Woman. This also retails for $40 and features four shades.
Although all of the products were highly-anticipated, the lipsticks are the stars of the collection. There are five lipsticks released which retail for $15. The shades Absolute Power (rich red), and Party Parrot (bright red-pink) were reviewed. The collection also features Pink Pigeon (bright cleanest pink), Strong Woman (bright violet), and Firm Form (gilded black with gold pearl). Pink Pigeon and Party Parrot have been repromoted and are very popular shades. The shades are bright, bold, and are shades that will certainly attract attention, and will compliment any skin tone. The formulas are very rich, and the lipsticks are opaque with just one application.
Two gorgeous shades of blush were released. Taupe Shape which is a (satiny taupe) was reviewed. The other shade available is Poised (muted pinkish brown). These retail for $20. Taupe Shape is a shade that would be perfect to use as a bronzer and for contouring the face. It has a nice tone, and will look beautiful on everyone.
There are lipliners and nail lacquers released in the collection as well. The shades are the perfect way to prepare for spring and to venture into wearing bold shades if one has not done so before.
