MAC Cosmetics is one of the most popular cosmetics brands around the world -- for a reason: quality. The products never disappoint and are truly outstanding. Every season new limited edition collections are launched. There is also a permanent collection which features products that are must-haves among consumers and professional make-up artists. Three of the Pro Longwear Paint Pots were reviewed, and two of the Retro Matte Lipsticks were reviewed as well.

The Pro Longwear Paint Pot shades were reviewed in the following: Clearwater (sea foam), Layin’ Low (creamy beige), and Stormy Pink (muted grey purple). The products retail for $20.

According to MAC Cosmetics, the paint pots are described as follows:

“A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.”

The paint pots are longwearing and can be worn as a base for eyeshadows or as a quick eyeshadow. When used as a base, the paint pots will allow one’s eyeshadows to stay on for numerous hours and not crease or fade. The paint pots from MAC are outstanding and are available in a variety of shades.

The other two products reviewed are two of the Retro Matte Lipsticks in shades: Flat Out Fabulous (bright plum matte), and Fixed on Drama (rich wine matte). The lipsticks are available for $15. The lipsticks have a matte finish which will allow the wear to last for a number of hours without having to reapply the product. There are numerous shades available.
