Recently, MAC launched an awesome new line called Archie's Girls, yes based off the popular comic. This amazing line is compiled with lipstick, lip glass, eye shadow pallets and much more. The cool thing about the line is it's divided into a Betty line and a Veronica line. Betty's is more of a fun, cute colors that can give you a "girl next door" look, while Veronica's is more dark colors that gives you a sexy, vixen look.
I picked up the Betty Girl Next Door lip stick and it is simple amazing. It is a light pink color with just a hint of metallic in it, giving you a sweet look. You can wear the lip stick matte or with a matching lip gloss (MAC sells a matching lip glass). I tend to wear the color matte because the color shows up better. I only apply a small amount so that my lips don't totally disappear, yes the pink is that light. This color works for anyone but be sure to use some lip linear if you're worried about the color. The lip linear will help bring more attention to your lips and keep them from blending in with your face. Also, don't be afraid to do a dramatic eye with this, since the color is soft.
