Designers Lourdes Hanimian and Augusto Hanimian presented their Luli Fama 2015 collection Miami Nice at Cabana Grande at The Raleigh on July 20th, 2014 in Miami, FL. Show-goers were mesmerized as models graced the runway wearing looks from the latest collection, which captivated the energetic nature of Miami, FL.
The show started with Cirque du Soliel style dancers dressed in bright colors to illustrate the adventure that the audience was about to experience. It was refreshing to see that the designers stayed true to the brand and didn’t wonder off to fit into the norm. A lot of crochet and cut out pieces were at the forefront of the designers Miami, FL inspired collection. The models seemed more than comfortable and excited to strut in their cheeky bottoms and flowing cover-ups.
The assortment of styles from the collection, including monokinis, bikinis, cover-ups and dresses, are made from light fabrics and enhanced with exceptional details tailored to accentuate a woman’s figure. All of Luli Fama’s beachwear garments are meant to complement each of the swimwear pieces, offering an effortless transition from beach to boardwalk with comfort and ease.
Luli Fama’s designers, Luli and Augusto Hanimian, captivate the culturally rich and energetic nature of Miami with the 2015 collection. When drawing inspiration, Augusto dove into his past and recalls his first look of the city – through the iconic television show, Miami Vice. Augusto and Luli implement pastels and neon colors that once flooded the streets of Miami in the 80’s. The line also includes an array of tropical patterns and prints, as well as capturing the natural elements of Miami today including the parrots, flamingos, and underwater life.
