Loveland AleWorks

Loveland Aleworks is an independent, family-owned brewery at 118 W. 4th Street in downtown Loveland, offering a selection of small batch handcrafted beers. Brewer and owner Nick Callaway utilizes his years of brewing experience to "create a range of beers inspired by traditional European and American craft beer styles". Their saison, for example, is 5.4% alcohol and the ingredients consist of Pilsner malt, malted rye, coriander, orange peel, saaz, hallertauer hops, and brettanomyces. In addition to their four regular brews, they offer six seasonals as well, with the American Stout being a favorite. It is a dry and roasty brown stout with coffee and chocolate flavors.

The atmosphere in this brewery is light and airy, with exceptionally friendly and knowledgable service. They also offer a small patio area right on the main street of Loveland. There are multiple food options at nearby restaurants to try as well. Even with the influx of breweries lately in this area, this one is a must.
