I guess this is another stupid film, like “Eat, Pray, Love," (well the title at least) only it needed a lot more prayer. What’s even more upsetting is this film was directed by one of my favorite romantic actors – Dermot Mulroney ("The Wedding Date," - which is a great romantic comedy)! What happened to a good romantic movie, or a nice classic romantic comedy?
This was a horrible romantic comedy – there was NO comedy, and NO romance. It had no reason to be made. I love Mandy Moore ("A Walk to Remember," "How To Deal"), but this film was absolutely a worthless piece of cinema. I watched it not only because I like all of Moore’s movies, but I wanted to see how Kellan Lutz ("Twilight," "The Twight Saga: New Moon,") would do beyond his sparkle vampire phase.
Basically, Moore and Lutz get married. She is a marriage counselor, decides to make it her number one goal to get her parents on the right track. Their marriage starts to fall flat; Moore loses sight of her own new nuptials (who would do that to Mr. Kellan Lutz? - HE’S HOT!). Anyway, it was a pure waste of time, and there was no story; extremely boring, and was probably made in a day.
Don’t waste your time with this one. You can get it on Red Box if you want, however it's really NOT worth it.
