The Young and the Restless, daytime's number one soap will be sending "Love Letters" to the fans starting on Monday, March 11th. This will be the start of their 40th anniversary celebration.
Starting three weeks before, every new Young and the Restless episode will start with an on-camera interview with a number of the show’s spectacular stars. The first one will be with the magnificent 'Daytime Emmy' winner Peter Bergman who has played Jack Abbott since 1989. Other videos leading up to Y&R's 40th anniversary show on March 26th are with: Eric Braeden (Victor), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas), Sharon Case (Sharon), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), Doug Davidson (Paul), Kristoff St. John (Neil), Daniel Goddard (Cane), Billy Miller (Billy) and Michael Muhney (Adam).
TV Line exclusively has the first video 'kiss' with the Daytime Emmy winner, the marvelous Peter Bergman.
“The videos are a love letter to longtime fans and will also help new viewers develop a greater appreciation for the fascinating history of these iconic characters,” said Y&R’s executive producer, Jill Farren Phelps.

The Young and the Restless can be seen weekdays on CBS at 12:30 p.m. and on Soapnet weeknights at 7 and 10 p.m.
