‘Lost Girl’ on Syfy recap/review 3.4: ‘Fae-de To Black’ (Photos)

Lost Girl, which aired on 02/04/13 on Syfy, has Kenzie finally trying to discuss her arm, however everyone treats her like the annoying human sidekick.

The episode has a weird investigation going on that screams fae however because it is humans that are dying, Tamsin is not all that excited to investigate like Dyson. But they get Bo to go undercover at a clinic that all the victims went to before they died.

As Bo investigates, Kenzie is out of sorts as she has that thing on her arm, and while she is attempting to hide it, she tries to go on as if it is not there, however once she interrupts Hale during an important meeting; he has to shut her out. When she attempts to tell him he ignores her.

Meanwhile Bo can’t take too much energy from Lauren and it is taking its toll on her. She feeds from Dyson, however she feels bad about it afterwards because she still believes that Dyson feels nothing for her and she is with Lauren.

When Bo, Dyson, and Tamsin close the case, Bo has to go to Lauren and tell her what she did. Lauren knows that she has to allow Bo to feed however she tells Bo that she can’t feed from Dyson.

As Kenzie is walking in an ally she attempts to call Bo, but leaves a message. We get to see her arm, and it is pretty gross. As she is walking she falls and is sucked into what could only be described as a black hole.

This episode showed us what happens when a succubus attempts to be in a monogamous relationship with a human. It is not pretty. When she finally feeds from Dyson, I really thought she would realize that his actions were a whole lot different than when he wasn’t feeling anything for her. It is like she can’t tell that he feels for her. She is blind to it, as she tries to make it work with Lauren.

Speaking of Lauren this is the first time in a long time that she had emotions other than her dry, boring self. She gave Bo an ultimatum that I think is going to backfire in the long run when Bo finds out that Dyson loves her again.

And what is up with Kenzie and her really gross arm? What fell on her and why is no one listening to her? When it comes down to it, she is just human, and this episode, made it quite clear exactly how the fae think of her even though she has fought from the very beginning for their causes.

This episode gets a 4.
