Looks 2 Kill, a tribute to Motley Crue, put on a killer show Saturday night at the recently reopened Red Blood Club in Deep Ellum. The show was a little bit late getting started, but that was forgotten as soon as the band, decked out in authentic "Shout at the Devil" attire, made their grand entrance.
Looks 2 Kill led the enthusiastic crowd on a journey back in time with all of the Motley Crue hits that fans love. The lengthy set list included "Shout at the Devil", "Looks That Kill", "Same Ol' Situation", "Dr. Feelgood", "Starry Eyes", "Red Hot", "Piece of Your Action", "Too Young To Fall", "Take Me To The Top", and many more of the songs that every 80's fan wants to hear.
Everyone in the Red Blood Club was on their feet throughout the entire show, crowding the area in front of the stage. The band delivered a tight, polished performance, and it was apparent that they were having every bit as much fun as the crowd was. The clothes, the make-up, the choreography, the stage props, and the special effects all show great attention to detail in creating the true feel of a Motley Crue show. It is amazing how awesome this band is, especially considering the short time that it has been in existence. A.Z. does a fantastic job getting in character with Vince Neil; he has the voice and moves down!
Looks 2 Kill, formerly called AZ Tribute Nation, is made up of frontman A. Z. Alvarez, Jerry Schrader on bass, guitarist George Rivera, and Terry Simms on drums.
If you are a Crue fan, you definitely need to check out this band. Their next show is scheduled for September 6 at Rob's Billiards in Arlington.
