Look Who's Judging American Idol (Video)

Guess what Entertainment/Reality TV show is In Real Trouble? 'American Idol'! As of this weeks, annual Hollywood Rounds, American Idol 2013 ratings are seriously dropping dramatically. And it's pissing off Fox, that Idol, had fewer viewers in the 18-49 age group demographic than Modern Family on ABC. Ok they have Sophia Vegara, but Idol has Mariah Carey, and lets face it boobs for boobs Mariah wins , and then some.

But seriously, in the age of viewers tivoing their DVRs, and watching when it's convienent on Demand, theres no urgency to watch live. At this stage of the preliminary competion, it's still too early to get vested in the series. The general diehards' thinking is pretty simple, let Idol weed out the sub-par contestants. That type of casual thinking is fine for Idols' viewers, but it’s not a great sign for the show's advertisers. Hey,what nobodys' watching?
We have cars' to sell, and restaurants to fill and outlet stores for them to shop in, and beverages they should be drinking ,perferably now than later.Especially considering Fox shelled out an estimated $54 million on judges and Ryan Seacrest this year with a large chunk of that going to new judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

FOX actually came in second in the ratings to CBS on Thursday night and only narrowly beat out ABC's Modern Family. Idol was trounced on quite soundly by Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men between 8 & 9 p.m. And let's be honest they really suck and 2 are re-ran multiple times in syndication.

To be honest, Idol has a deeper problems', the show is no longer churning out major stars. the top-earning Idol contestants. While Scott McCreery, who won in 2011, ranked 4th earning $4 million, the top of the list was dominated by winners from much earlier seasons like Kelly Clarkson earning,$8 million, Carrie Underwood and Daughtry both earning $5 million. That's 4 people, there's been 11 winners, the few that fell from grace got casted
aside, the Fantasia's and Ruben Studders' are bankrupt all but homeless. Chris Allen and the Taylor Hicks and Jordan Sparks are waiting for a second chance. While Adam Lamberts only hook, being gay &flamboiant is wearing thin. And Phil Philips may wind up going 'Home' if he doesn't have a 2nd hit soon. And David Archuletta retired at 17 from show business, and currently he's working at a wireless store, he was seen selling Idols' Jennifer Hudson a cell phone.

This year Idol's TV promo's claim that "American Idol has the best ever talent in 12 seasons" which so far is a load of crap.Granted there are a few talented people but not nearly the same amount of talent that has been featured on past seasons. What need's to be done is start cutting back on the expensive talent. Find up-and-coming singers to judge who really need the exposure and won’t demand eight-figure salaries to appear on the show. It would freshen things up without upsetting the die-hard fans. Like Nikki and Mariah fighting is only interesting for so long, and Nikki threatening to blow Mariah's head off in a time with gun violence at a all time high in the work place is a turn off.

This week fan's were disappointed this year that most of the people the judges are putting through would never have made it out of Hollywood week in seasons past. They really have to be kidding, what are the judges" listening to? With the exception of one "judge" the others are not putting people through for their solid singing ability . Definitely not Zonette, jumping around in a tribal gown pounding a drum and growling out lyrics to 'The Lion Kings'. 'Circle of Life', it was a hot mess. Ok her video package included a sad back story, but it's suppose to be a singing competition not a pity party!

Meanwhile elimated Thursday was one of the most talented 15 year old girl who played guitar One of the best singers on the show, a performer who judges admittedly had found her voice, a real original. She moved the judges emotionally more than any other competing contestant on the show. And all without vocal aerobics. It was very beautiful how all of it came from her heart and soul. Actually the judges made a big mistake by not letting this orginal artist have her shot with the american audience.

Frankly the judges are doing a terrible job. Keith Urban is the only one who gives a honest and professional opinion of the contestant's singing ability.Randy Jackson's like a whipped puppy, deferring critiques to Mariah. She never really says anything of value, except how she loves their "spirit" Ah,this is a singing competition, their not up for class valedictorian and Nikki can't stop rolling her eyes in disagreement with the other judges long enough to actually care about the show she is supposedly judging.

At least Mariah has compassion when critiquing the contestants and always gives them something positive to take away. Nicki, on the other hand, is a stone cold idiot, only caring about herself, she doesn't deserve to be back next year. You need someone knowledgeable, funny, compassionate, and knows what life is all about.

Sorry to say, that Nicki is a joke. She judges people on their identity but she wears a different wig every night, talks out her nose, but judges other people on their identity, and asking men to disrobe or inquiring whether or not their single in inappropriate, especially to use that as a reason to disqualify them.

Nicki Minaj is ruining American Idol with her lack of professionalism. It's a shame, it's hard to watch how she's making the show a public joke! Fan's have looked forward to watching it every year.Except for this year, simply because Niki has ruined it. DVR's are fast forwarded when she starts rambling, Idol producers' face it, she has to go!

Just pay Nicki Minaj off and let us enjoy the remainder of the season!
