Logan’s Secret – A Retired Racing Greyhound’s Amazing Secret to Survival

Logan’s Secret – A Retired Racing Greyhound’s Amazing Secret to Survival” is an uplifting story of Logan and the power of dreams and positive philosophy to life.

As told by Logan, formerly known on the Greyhound racing circuit as Rapido U.S.A., he one day wondered in the middle of a race if this was all there was to life. At that moment, he stopped running and his life changed.

The story touches on the reality of what life is for racing Greyhounds before they reach what Logan calls his “forever home”.

Geared for younger ages, it contains education material at the end of the book to expand vocabulary, critical thinking skills and creative writing skills. The story helps empower them with what thinking positively and believing in themselves can do.

While it is written for younger readers, it is a great story for anyone who is unfamiliar with Greyhounds and what kind of companions they can be once they leave the track.

Author Suzanne Burke has done a great job educating people regarding the history of Greyhounds and inserting the personality and mannerisms unique to Greyhounds. She also features Logan in her other book, “Logan and the Mystical Collar – Adventures in Egypt”.
