Do you want permanent facial hair removal? Do you want ingrown hair treatment? So do I. Since my first appointment at Discreet Electrolysis in Tumwater, I'm more than pleased with the results—I’m excited about the improvement of my skin!
During the weeks between appointments, I noticed a major difference in the quality and health of my skin. It is more smooth and clear in the ingrown hair treatment region. Between my neck and jawline, I have much fewer red bumps on my skin. As of this moment, my chin is completely clear and scar-free.
Even my hair growth has changed. When the dark, coarse hairs grow back, there's always less than before. From a closer look, electrologist Carla Schmidt noticed the hairs were thinner. She estimated that it will take a total of about six months to cease hair growth in the area.
Discreet Electrolysis has moved a few doors down from their previous location, in the same building. The setup is homey and inviting, yet clean and professional—the perfect atmosphere for electrolysis, when you want to be as comfortable as possible.
The company’s new location features, not one, but two treatment rooms. Other improvements include the bathroom, complete with towels to dry your washed face.
Mutual learning experience
I have few complaints about Discreet Electrolysis. I find Schmidt charming and I love the results and location. One downside, however, is this: I kept getting poked in the neck with the needle.
Poking, however, is understandable. Electrologists are blessed with the talent of holding an electrology needle and tweezers in one hand. While removing a treated follicle with tweezers, the needle may stick in places it shouldn’t. Don’t worry, though—once I pointed the problem out to Schmidt, she began holding the tweezers and needle in different hands. No more poking or pricking!
Treatment is a growing process for both the electrologist and the client. Schmidt is adapting to my skin’s reactions, and I am learning how to clearly explain my skin’s foremost needs. All in all, I am looking forward to eventual permanent facial hair removal, thanks to Discreet Electrolysis.
