Little Boots and MNDR threw a dance party at The Independent in San Francisco on Tuesday night, and for a moment it was easy to remember what good dance music was, and forget about anything involving twerking (sorry).
Oakland's own MNDR (a collaboration between Amanda Warner and Peter Wade) warmed up the crowd before Little Boots took the stage, asking "Are you up for a rave? Do you have raves in San Francisco on a Tuesday?" Victoria Hesketh and her band played a ridiculously fun set of tunes - "Confusion," "Beat Beat" and "Stuck On Repeat" were particularly great, and the crowd could have gone all night.
