On Thursday, January 9th, 2014, Lita Ford performed to a happy and oversold crowd at the Whisky-a-Go-Go. Her feature was part of a 50th Anniversary Celebration of the venue as to her first band, The Runaways made their start there in the mid-70s.

An hour and a half set covered all the hits but what made this show extra special were the guest appearances. Former Runaways singer and bandmate Cherie Currie joined in for Living Like a Runaway. Slash, formerly of Guns n' Roses , Slash's Snakepit, and Velvet Revolver, joined in for Cherry Bomb and Black Leather.

As amazing as having an iconic guitar player and a former bandmate singing on stage with Ms. Lita Ford, singer Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple took over vocally for Mistreated, Burn and the famous duet Lita had done with Ozzy Osbourne, Close My Eyes Forever.

The whole show had many fan singing along to every song, cell phones in the air taking pictures and recording videos, most especially with her closing song of Kiss Me Deadly, where pretty much the entire crowd sang the song along with her.

This spring, Lita Ford is part of the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas, Nevada this spring which is all that is currently listed on upcoming dates. But wherever she performs, the crowds always love her!
