Life of The Jetsetter Tour Concert Review - Washington, DC

Diggy Simmons, ahead of his spring album release, wrapped up his Life of The Jetsetter Tour in Washington, DC. Presented by AEG, CDE Enterprises, and Scream Star Entertainment, the sold out Constitution Hall, played host to Simmons, and featured rising stars; TK-N-Cash Jawan Harris, OMG Girlz and Jacob Latimore. The audience, mostly teenage girls of all different races, was very diverse, and oh so excited to be there.

The lights dimmed for Simmons highly anticipated start. The video screens displayed a flight crew and stewardess welcoming the crowd to flight 320, this was interspersed with a DJ forming the backdrop, before Diggy rose from beneath the stage. It was sheer teen pandemonium as the young star went head first into his set. Simmons took a moment to re-introduce his self, as he gave the crowd a brief history lesson about himself and his love of music. Jacob Latimore returned to the stage, after his energetic set, to join Simmons for the track ‘Like Em All’. Other highlights included, Diggy selecting and serenading one of young ladies from VIP, the performance of Flow Stoopid (Made You Look), Ms Right, and his hit with Copy & Paste. He had bounds of energy, working the entire stage and scaling up and down the backdrop and speakers; he knew how to work the crowd, giving the audience exactly what they had come for.

Jacob Latimore delivered a performance that could have rivaled the headliner. With clean choreography, dance numbers, good stage presence, and the deafening shrills from the fans, Latimore appeared to have a real connection with the fans

DTP’s TK N Cash hit the stage after a video introduction by Ludacris, sending the crowd into a frenzy. They kept the crowd hyped by doing tracks from their Scream Mixtape, “Motto” “Talking About” and “Lovin That.” A set complete with a nice combination of lyrics, over familiar songs to keep people dancing.

OMG Girlz (Officially Miss Guided), the newest, and only female act on the lineup, were a very perfect representation of crowd in attendance. Much like the other acts on the tour, they did not have a real catalog of music of their own, they were able to maintain the energy, with their rendition of familiar hip-hop hits like, "Pretty Girl Bag."

The show closed out at just about the 9 o’clock hour, with most of the audience far too riled up to head home just yet.
