Lexar’s recently released ECHO ZX line of back up flash drives are just another reason why Lexar is on top of the ultra portable storage market.
Their newest line ranges 8gb all the way up to (as tested) 32gb. They offer read/write of 28 MB/sec and 15 MB/Sec respectively. This is the only claim that was not testable due to author limitation.
Testing was done on an XP Tablet, a Windows 7 Laptop and Windows 7 desktop. All were (as expected) plug and play which is always good. There were no errors or problems and the drive was almost immediately recognized.
It is an ultra easy to use backup solution. The Lexar backup software starts up immediately after the flashdrive is inserted. 128 AES encryption is standard here. It is constantly working in the background to backup your data and keep it safe.
It is a great and compact way to store your data securely, especially when you need quick access..
