Les Vixens is an Orlando based Burlesque troupe that makes occasional visits to Jacksonville, performing at The Norm.
In Orlando they have a regular show at Revolution Nightclub.
The members I had the pleasure of seeing on stage in Jacksonville at The Norm this past Friday night were;
Ivy; Performs with Les Vixens and the Aftermidnites. She “plays pool like a shark and dances until the club closes...With an innocent sensuality and incomparable energy, I will sweat, dance, tease, thrill, play, Charleston and swirl my way into your heart! I am inspired by other performers, artists, gender, sensuality, glitter, and individuality. I'll leave you sweaty, covered in glitter, and wanting more! My show never disappoints!”
I can attest that all of her “about me” is true except for the Charleston. I meant to ask her if she really could dance it or if that was just facebook fodder, but I was distracted by the dancing she was doing and forgot to ask. I will research the matter further and get back to you.
In the meantime, should you have the opportunity to watch this lady dance you should, if for no other reason than a recent status update she posted.

Kissa Von Adams; Burlesque and sideshow performer based out of Central FL, affiliated with both Les Vixens as well as EPIC WIN Burlesque. “Showgirl on the outside, nerd at heart, Southern born and raised. On a quest to conquer the rest of the world.” She may not have conquered the world just yet but with N3rd L1f3 tattooed across her midriff and boots a German Schutzstaffel officer would be envious of she took many prisoners and captured even more hearts in her performance at The Norm.
Tia Kadena; whose tumbler feed says “Ask me anything” She’s a 21 year old South Florida Neo Burlesque Dancer.
“Obsessed with animal print, pin up modeling ,philosophy & fetishes.
Let's talk about nothing.”
When she takes the stage you really want to talk about nothing because you no longer wish to talk, only to watch her graceful performance as she answers all your questions while adding a few more to the list.
Whether you see these ladies as a group or at individual performances you are in for a lovely night watching them perform a living tribute to the history and the mystery that is Burlesque.
