This Writer Girl was fortunate enough to track down and speak with the legendary “Jazz Master”
Gino Goss and boy what a treat it was! Goss shared a bit of the old and the new with us and
“talk about enlightened, more will be revealed in the paragraphs to follow. Let’ just say that Gino
Goss is to Jazz as milk is to a baby.” Not only are they a compatible, time tested match, one may
not survive or do well, without the other.
Over the past four decades, Gino has honed his skills as a trumpet and
Flugelhorn artist adding Latin jazz percussions to his repertoire.
A master artist and performer, Gino decided in 2008 it was time to break away
and embark on his own, forming Gino Goss and Jammajazz. In 2009, he
Released is debut CD “Almost Famous” to glowing reviews and formed
A cornucopia of cuts from this freshman CD can be heard globally. Gino is currently in
the studio working on his sophomore CD, having released six singles from that
CD, “Funk It Up”, award winning “Kalimba Dreaming” and award winning “Night In
Rio”, “Voodoo Magic”, award winning “Egyptian Drifter” and “Somewhere In The
Hills” to glowing reviews.
Through Gino’s close work with some of the world’s greatest musicians, as well
as drawing from a wide-ranging repertoire of pop, jazz, contemporary, and R&B

He is certainly not new to the game at all, he has worked with, and continues to work with quite a few Artists across the nation and beyond.
When asked what advice he would give to a new artist, he stated: that his advice to new Artist, “whatever you do don’t give up, dreams do come true and as his Grandmother told him, everybody gets a turn”.
Whereas he owns JamaJazz, his Record Company, unfortunately not accepting any new artist now, in the studio until he goes on tour.
Gino says that he once played with a Band called “Brown Sugar” he has been kind of Jazzy all the while and decided to go with it. (Jazz that is)
We asked the “Jazz Master” what is next on his agenda and he revealed the long hours of work he is putting in, in the studio for his next CD titled, the “Color of Music”.

Congrats to jazz trumpeter/flugelhorn artist/producer Gino Goss, who won multiple awards last month. Gino won four prestigious awards at the 2013 Indie Music Channel Awards at the House of Blues in Hollywood: Best Jazz Song, Best Jazz Recording, Best Jazz Video and Best World Male Artist. Watch

This is not the first time Gino has won here. In 2012, he brought home three awards in the jazz
