Why take an average, run of the mill dance class when you can learn how to shake your moneymaker? Don’t be intimidated by the title. It’s a great way to exercise and a lot of fun.
Wild Boomer Women took a class from Scandalesque’s co-owner Christy Zandlo, but call her Pyrrah at the studio. That’s her burlesque name and everyone who takes a class there must choose their own. For the rest of the evening we were Roxy, Sparkle, Venus, Vixen and Vivi.
The group started by learning some basic moves, including how to walk that sexy walk and pose for the perfect picture like the stars do. Next they learned a routine using a boa, followed by another routine using elbow length gloves. Finally they put the routines together for one sexy dance. The girls laughed all throughout the 90 minute class and got a great workout. Everyone who took the class would highly recommend it.
