Pilsner style beers are among the most style of lagers brewed around the world. The style was made famous in Pilsen in the Czech Republic in the mid 1800’s. It gets its name from the city where it was first produced. Pilsner’s unique characteristics come from using pale malts resulting in a clear yellow beer.
