In the heart of Homestead, located right at Krom avenue, the place for authentic Mexican food. There are a few restaurants in this area trying to get the clientele. At this restaurant there is both indoor and outdoor seating. La Quebradita features a traditional menu. Prices are modest and the establishment serves beer and wine. The staff is neither service minded nor absent minded, they take their time. Missing a fork? No problem wait ten minutes and you will get one. You want to get you check? Wait until the waitress finished eating, and if you go to the cash register and ask for it, a service charge will be added to you check without telling you. Not very clean, the bathrooms are located outside and they are scary seems like the worst truck stop you have ever been too. This is when one starts to wonder if the food is actually safe? So out of curiosity one might look at the last health inspection and turns out it was done Sept 23, 2011 the restaurant had 20 health and sanitation violations, not a huge surprise but one would think the restaurant would clean up after such a miserable inspection it has not. If you go there make sure everything is deep fried.
