L’Oreal Paris is a brand synonymous with quality. Every year new limited-edition collections are released, and consumers can rest assured that the products will be amazing. A number of new products have been released, and are absolutely must-haves for the upcoming 2013 Spring season. Everything from mascara to concealer were reviewed, and they are outstanding in quality and function.
The first product reviewed is the Age Perfect BB Cream Instant Radiance. The product retails for $16.99. The product was formulated for mature skin, but those with dry skin can use the product as well. The product will help to reduce age spots, and improve the skin’s resilience. There are five main ingredients: ER 195 Salicylic Acid Derivative, Vitamin C, Pro Calcium Complex, Soy Seed Proteins, and SPF 20. The BB Cream can be used on any skin type, including sensitive skin. The product will moisturize the skin, even the skin tone, and reduce signs of aging. There are self-adjusting pigments that are released once applied and will disperse a sheer tint of color that will instantly illuminate the skin. The product feels hydrating and lightweight on the skin. The product is a nice change from wearing foundation. It is not heavy coverage, but it will provide enough to even one’s skin tone and has major benefits for the skin as well.
The next product reviewed is from the Revitalift collection. A new product has been released and added to the line, the Triple Power SPF 30 Day Lotion which retails for $24.99. The Revitalift collection of products will repair wrinkles, redensify, and re-firm the skin. The Day Lotion has a fruity, floral scent, but is not at all overpowering. It is dermatologist-tested and suitable for sensitive skin. The product is extremely hydrating and absorbs into the skin. It will not leave a heavy, greasy feeling. SPF protection is crucial in skin products since exposure to the sun is a daily occurrence. The Daily Lotion will protect the consumer against UV rays. L’Oreal Paris released a new collection for the True Match line. The True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer. The product retails for $8.95 and is available in six shades: Fair/Light Neutral, Fair/Light Warm, Light/Medium Neutral, Light/Medium Warm, Medium/Deep Neutral, and Medium/Deep Warm. Circles under the eye, and various other imperfections can be covered with the concealer. It will never look cakey either. This is perfect for someone who travels a lot, or just someone who likes to achieve flawless looks quickly and easily. The coverage is customizable, the formula is blendable, and there is a wonderful range of shades to suit any skin tone. The product contains high levels of liquid and soft waxes which allows for a creamy and lightweight texture. It blends effortlessly for a perfect look. This is a must-have item due to its quality and convenience.
When one uses an eyeliner, one hopes that it will not smudge or fade. Liquid eyeliners are easy to use, and L’Oreal Paris has added a product to the Infallible line. The new Super Slim Liner by Infallible is excellent. It has a very slim felt tip applicator -- 0.4mm to be exact. There is a continuous liquid flow which allows the user to achieve a perfect line, with no skips, every time. The product also features a quick-dry formula. With this product, the consumer is getting an expert application, 12-hour wear, and a gentle formula. It is Ophthalmologist-tested and safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. It is available for $8.95.
Two mascaras were reviewed. The first is the Telescopic Shocking Extensions which retails for $9.95. The brush and formula are the stars. The product features Liquid Extension Technology. The lash-hugging brush features 200 bristles. Multiple coats are not necessary, but it is ultimately up to the user. Consumers can expect an intense, lengthened look, a lash-hugging brush, and it is Ophthalmologist-tested for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Not only will eyelashes look full and precise, they will look extremely long. There are five shades available: Black, Blackest Black, Black Brown, Waterproof Black, and Waterproof Blackest Black. The final mascara reviewed is the Voluminous Power Volume 24HR in Black Smoke. The mascara retails for $7.95, and is different from the other mascaras in the line, since it gives the user a matte finish. The product was designed to add to a smokey eye look. The mascara will not flake, or smudge. It contains jojoba and palm oils as well as panthenol (Vitamin B5), and ceramides. A mattifying powder is infused in the formula which results in a lustreless finish. Lashes will look very full, and long. With the mascara, consumers will get a smokey eye effect, long-lasting wear, and it comes with a semi-arched brush and is Ophthalmologist-tested. The shades are available in Black Smoke, Black, Blackest Black, Black Brown, Waterproof Black, and Waterproof Blackest Black.
Just in time for Spring, the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail line has added six new shades as part of “Le Nouveau Riche” collection. The Trend Setter shades for 2013 were inspired by exotic flowers. Royalty Reinvented (deep lavender), Orange You Jealous? (orange peach), and Not A Cloud In Sight (blue teal) were reviewed. The three other shades available are New Money (lime green), Crazy For Chic (magenta), and Members Only (electric hot pink). The products retail for $5.99. There are a total of forty-two shades, and there are shades to appeal to everyone. The nail polishes are fantastic because they will last for a long amount of time. The polishes have supreme shine, is a safe formula (does not contain formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene. Each shade also includes a professional brush which allows for easier application. The nail shades went on smoothly, and were visibly opaque with just one coat. The brush is excellent for expert application and precision.
Colour Caresse Shine Stains have been added to the Colour Riche line of lip products. There are twelve shades available, and three were reviewed. The product is available for $9.99. The shades Lilac Ever After, Infinite Fuchsia, and Stubborn Plum were reviewed. The other shades available are Pink Perseverance, Pink Resistance, Rose On and On, Berry Persistent, Coral Tattoo, Pink Rebellion, Endless Red, Everlasting Caramel, and Eternally Nude. After application, the product never feels heavy or drying. It feels lightweight, will add a glossy finish as opposed to a matte finish, the color is buildable, hydrating, and is available in many shades. The product features a water-based formula which provides up to six hours of comforting hydration. It will not bleed or feather. One can attain a sheer look or a very pigmented application. They are easily transported in one’s makeup bag, and would be perfect for professional makeup artists.
All of the new products from L’Oreal Paris are fantastic. They are products that should achieve must-have status with just one application. The brand continually releases outstanding products that consumers can depend on, and that will add to their natural beauty.
