Le Peep of Colorado offers decent food, if a little short on flavor. A little too fancy of a menu for some, it depends on your tastes. For a greasy spoon lover, this may not be the breakfast chain restaurant for you.
Le Peep wants to be a higher end breakfast restaurant, but not at high end prices. Granted there are lower price alternatives out there, but the quality and fanciness of the food is more in line with a higher price tag than what they are asking. Unfortunately, quality and fancy does not always mean flavorful. That is what is missing from Le Peep, flavor. You can add all the fruit, nuts, vegetables and whatever else you can think of, but if your bacon is dry and the hollandaise sauce tastes sub par, then there is place for improvement.
Service is on par with what a breakfast restaurant should have. One can tell the waitstaff is experienced and really hustles. At times, the wait for a table can be excruciating, but that comes with the breakfast territory and cannot be avoided, unless you choose to eat at odd times.
So, if you're in the mood for a breakfast that is done the 'Le Peep' way, head on over and grab a table.
They get 3.5 stars out of 5. They would get another half star if they offered homemade hash!
