The ladies room at L.A.'s Club Nokia was punctuated with various Slavic languages last Friday during K&D's only Southern
California show. Kruder & Dorfmeister, Austria's two man DJ slash producer slash remix team, put on quite a show from an elevated platform surrounded by a mesmerizing and apparently seizure inducing, (No. Wait. That was probably dancing.) electronic light show designed by Fritz Fitzke.
The duo served up crowd favorites of past, present then future hits starting with a mix of "The Message" showcasing their well-known sound that is best described as electronica, downtempo-dub, drum & bass, lounge, trip hop with an element of Latin specifically, Bossa Nova and a definite acid jazz feel.
