I had an opportunity to speak with Doug Shea, about the music and release of the CD , Kingdom Bridges. Doug expressed to me, we as individuals, must seek truth. He explained to me , to seek , is to study, search, and find Jesus in the here and now. Not in a world eons away in Jerusalem and Egypt, but here and now, in the today. He also explained to me to read a new bible called, The Message, available on Amazon. Doug Shea still performs in taverns and places where the environment may be of a rowdy crowd and receives a good response. Mr Shea would hope to expand his performances not only in churches and venues, but to stadiums of huge worship such as Joel Osteen or Billy Graham crusades.
Doug expressed the importance to me of not only putting on a victory validated choice of music , but to join a church group and live the life you seek. Doug Shea's music is the bridge to personal decision to seek internal solutions by raising your thoughts, words, and actions up. That is exactly what Kingdom Bridges does, it lifts you up, and makes you feel joy. After spending time with the music , you want that feeling to continue throughout your day and life. You open your eyes to a different view of living in the light opposed to living behind the enemy lines of self, greed, and judgement.
Doug Shea is not a man wearing a collar , but a man with tattoos , trending fashions, and language not filled with profanity, but a total conversationalist who is able to reach teens, adults, drug addicts and the people society plain out forgot about.
