Kindle Direct Publishing

Well, today marks a milestone for me; I've self-published my first book which is a Novella. I used Kindle Direct Publishing and it will be available for purchase in world-wide markets on Amazon within about 12 hours.

It all started back when I was logging too much facebook time, my friends suggested I start a blog. I started a blog and hey, I think it's got some great material on it. Blogger assisted me and allowed me to make that part of my writing career happen. My short stories started getting longer and not so short, anymore. I thought, hey, I'll see where I can take this writing thing. Next thing you know I had a short novel written up. I really think you'll like it--I don't want to toot my own horn, but I personally think it's smart, funny entertaining and offers my own unique perspective on things. I am so excited about it I decided to write this review up on Kindle Direct Publishing, before my book, The Legend of Bone Diddley is even available for purchase on Amazon!

Of course I'll be posting the links to Bone Diddley's page when it becomes available so you'll be able to take a peak inside and see if it's the sort of thing you can imagine downloading to your kindle or other device of choice!

As far as Kindle Direct Publishing, it was very user-friendly--I just followed the steps as I was guided along during the whole process. The software allows the writer to upload a word or other type document of their written material to a Kindle format. I viewed a sneak peak of my book--there it was, professionally presented as you, the reader will see it. Kindle Direct Publishing allowed me to take my book from manuscript to downloadable kindle e-book.

What are you waiting for? Just for the book to become available on Amazon and pass review, that's all! As soon as my book is ready for purchase I'll post links! I know you're on the edge of your seat...
