Kiko Milano is an Italian beauty brand that sells 1,200 high quality products at jaw dropping low prices. Kiko offers makeup, nail, skincare, and body care products that range from $8 to $30 per item. With Kiko "Quality is no longer synonymous with high prices." The brand's website claims that all products have pure pigments and have been scientifically tested, which supposedly makes them "high quality."
Kiko Milano's Lip Base Primer promises to neutralize the color of lips to allow the outline to be reshaped, while emphasizing the color of the lipstick. This product contains vitamin E to protect lips against free radicals, is hypoallergenic, and both paraben and fragrance free.
The Lip Base Primer really does neutralize lips for an even color. Almost like a concealer this left my lips a nude shade, which allowed for even lipstick color throughout the entire lip; especially in the middle where the color tends to look faded. The lipstick color also seemed richer and lasted noticeably longer, about 5 hours after application. When using this primer you may not need to reapply.
As far as reshaping the outline of the lip, I do not believe this product can deliver that. When I applied the lipstick the color still bled outside my lip line and I had to clean it up.
The Lip Base Primer is available on Kiko Milano's website and at its first US location at The Garden State Plaza Mall. More locations are in the works to open around the New York area later this year, including a store in Times Square and The World Trade Center. However, these locations cannot be confirmed.
