Cheap Thrills

“The laughs for Cheap Thrills are just as good at home then on the big screen and maybe even better!”

"Cheap Thrills sets you up for laughs and sinister deeds even at home!"
Drafthouse Films

By now we are sure you guys are all aware of the zany dark comedy from director E.L. Katz, Cheap Thrills. A fan favorite for sure this gritty headrush has come home to DVD and Blu ray. In stunning glory Cheap Thrills is just as good of a watch at home as it is in the theaters. A movie you want to add to your collection? Yes, and the casing and presentation for the film is impeccable. We loved the mini booklet with the extra goodies including the small comic dedicated to the film. Cheap Thrills is a captivating experience that you will want to enjoy again and again.

For those unfamiliar with the tale, Cheap Thrills stars Pat Healy as a down on his luck guy who has not only lost his job but received an eviction notice. He runs into an old friend at the bar (Ethan Embry) and after a few they meet the dastardly couple David Koechner and Sara Paxton. The two involve them in small bets and then string them alone for a night they will never forget, or never survive. Cheap Thrills sets the tone for how much would a person do to make a fast buck.

Filled with laughs that will question your sanity Cheap Thrills is a journey like no other. Once the big time money comes into play the film becomes a macabre display of two desperate men going past the limits. Just when you think the film has lost it and in meandering into a monotonous movie , Koechner and Paxton explode to deliver unforgettable performance that will have you both laughing and uneasy.

The DVD and Blu ray also comes with a digital copy, making of featurette and commentary from Healy and E.L. Katz. That’s a great worth of Cheap Thrills entertainment for you to enjoy so head out today and pick this up!
