For the past week, I've had a new taste experience from an old favorite.

Juicy gum made its debut in 1893!

Juicy Fruit is already world-renowned as part of the Wrigley "family" of chewing gums (I've been a long-time fan of not only Juicy Fruit, but also Wrigley's Spearmint and Doublemint).

I recently discovered the new Juicy Fruit Bubble Gum and Juicy Fruit Fruity Chews; both are excellent!

The new Juicy Fruit Bubble Gum comes in a vibrant yellow package (that really catches the eye) of five pieces (they're actually nice, thick, colorful little blocks-or chunks-full of flavor! And there's plenty to blow some awesome bubbles with!). The gum itself is also eye-catching; the original flavor is a bright, sunny yellow, while the sweet strawberry flavor is a melon or strawberry red shade.

From the time I first started chewing, the gum retained flavor for at least two hours (at least to my tastebuds)!

Launched in July 2014, Juicy Fruit Bubble Gum (in Original and Sweet Strawberry) is currently available at retailers nationwide in a five-count chunk (MSRP $0.79).

The Fruity Chews come in a somewhat curvy container (called the "Big E Pak bottle") with two attached lids (for one or a few, or for several helpings). The original flavor is a bright, vibrant yellow, while the sweet strawberry has red and yellow accents on the bottle.

They're not as thick as the Bubble Gum, but it doesn't matter; they hold their own, flavor-wise (there's still that strong burst!).

Also launched in July 2014, Juicy Fruit Fruity Chews are currently available nationwide in a 40-count bottle (MSRP $3.49).

Did You Know That.....

Juicy Fruit gum has been around since 1893!

In 1944, because of wartime rationing, Wrigley's Spearmint, Doublemint and Juicy Fruit gums were taken off the civilian market (only the military could get these brands at that time). Juicy Fruit was re-introduced to the public in 1946.

1974-Jucy Fruit gum was the first product to be run through a laser scanner.
