Joe Fresh cotton turtleneck review

Layering a must in Canada. It's already started to cool down to the point where we need jackets, but we don't want to be constricted by a huge jacket just yet. In the next month or so you can wear a base layer topped with a jacket to beat the cold weather and as it gets even colder, use the same base layer when layering up sweaters and heavy coats. The more breatheable and comfortable your base layer is, the less hectic it is getting dressed to face the great outdoors.

Review: Joe Fresh cotton turtlenecks for women

Pros

  • Incredibly comfortable. The cotton turtlenecks have a hint of stretch, making them comform to your figure and move with you. Whether you're a stay-at-home chasing the kids around or a college student who needs to look stylish for classes and dates, this turtleneck can go in nearly any direction.
  • The price! The Joe Fresh collection is all reasonably priced, but these cotton turtlenecks are a mere 10 bucks. That means for about the price of two fancy schmancy lattes, you can have a shirt that is fuss-free and makes a great layering piece.
  • Sizes run true to size. Overall, the sizing seems to be pretty consistent for Joe Fresh clothing, which means you can pop in and grab additional turtlenecks in other colors without trying them on.

Cons

  • None! After browsing turtlenecks at several other retailers including The Bay and Gap, it seems the Joe Fresh turtlenecks are the best bang for your buck. They aren't as pricey as the turtlenecks found at specialty or department stores, but higher quality than those found at Old Navy or Wal-mart.
