Jennifer Falls

Jamie Pressley is back and has landed on TV Land’s new sitcom “Jennifer Falls.” Pressley plays Jennifer Doyle. She and her teenage daughter Gretchen are forced to move in with her therapist mother (Jessica Walter) after getting fired for anger management issues by a boss who says her yelling makes him feel weak.

Desperate for a job, Jennifer goes to work at a bar owned by her brother Wayne (fellow “My Name is Earl” alum Ethan Suplee). Mom’s house seems cozy enough, but Jennifer does not want to be there nor does she relish working at a sports bar dressed in teeny tiny shorts with a tight referee shirt that screams open-season on cleavage. It’s also obvious that she and Wayne’s wife will never become BFFs.

According to Jennifer’s mom, Jennifer’s old friend Dina does not want to see her, so when the two run into each other at the sports bar, the situation gets awkward. No, Dina does not want to pick up their friendship from wherever it was left off and Jennifer is determine to find out why Dina feels this way.

Jennifer goes to the employment office where she is mocked by two employees for having made an annual salary of $252,000. And the reason why Dina is so upset is because Jennifer stopped being a friend to talk to and became a friend who threw money and gifts at you. Don't you just hate those rich, giving friends? They are the worst.

Romance may be on the horizon as a regular at the bar seems to not only be smitten with Jennifer but not affected by her brashness. However, it will be interesting to see if Jennifer's mom gets in the way if a romance should bud. Her tends to ignore her oath as a medical doctor and allow a few personal details to slip regarding her family and/or patients.

Watch “Jennifer Falls” on Wednesdays at 10:30 PM on TV Land.
