Japoix Restaurant, Denver, Colorado (Photos)

Japoix Restaurant opened its doors in September 2010, with a menu conceptualized as an international fusion of food. Inspired from traditional Japanese and French cuisines, these flavor profiles are merged together to create an inspiring combination of innovative cuisine. Serving lunch, dinner and happy hour, Japoix offers unparalleled service. Close attention to detail is given to each guest, plate and cocktail.

Imbibe. Socialize. Enjoy: from a variety of libations at their signature cocktail bar, located in the back of the restaurant. The lounge boasts a seductive ambiance and is a perfect place to begin a date or night out with friends.

Begin the evening with their most notable mouth-numbing signature cocktail, the Electric French Kiss, which lives up to its name because the description is results in the outcome. This unique cocktail contains TY KU liqueur and lemonade served with a Szechuan flower bud floating on top. Your attractive waiter advises you to chew and swallow the flower bud, wait 20 seconds and your mouth goes numb. Follow by sipping your bevie and your tongue is instantly teased by its delicious ingredients that electrify your taste buds.

Delicious smaller plates include the:

Petit Teriyaki Chicken Sandwiches - grilled chicken, pineapple, crispy lotus root, steamed bun

Ahi Poke - red onions, seaweed salad, avocado, sesame-jalapeño vinaigrette

Tempura Rock Shrimp - light tempura batter, yuzu aioli, sesame, spice

Deconstructed Street Tacos - soy-marinated short rib, pear onion relish, cilantro-lime vinaigrette

The Social Hotrock is another fabulous menu option to share with a group of friends. Guests choose from a variety of New York Strip, Lamb Tenderloin, and Kobe Ribeye, which is served, sliced and presented in raw form with a trio of house-made sauces. Diners use a salted slab of volcanic rock that is heated to a searing temperature of 1,000 degrees, to cook their meat selections at the table, creating a customizable, engaging and intimate dining experience.

For a more personalized entrée, their most popular items include the:

Salmon de Extraordinaire - caramelized onion encrusted salmon, coriander mushroom broth

Duck Ramen - egg noodles, roast duck, crispy pork belly, snap peas, light duck broth

Lobster Udon - udon noodles, miso-butter broth, lobster, snap peas, chili oil

An unforgettable dining experience that you will want to share again and again.
