Halloween Hustle started off with a wonderful red carpet hosted by Wentworth Public Relations. Everyone that attended the event had the opportunity to strut their stuff and take some amazing photos with the celebrities in attendance. Some of those celebrities included, Martin Kove (Karate Kid, Cagney and Lacey, Rambo II), Vikki Lizzi(VH1, Celebrity Rehab), Linda Dona (General Hospital, Ricochet), Rock Riddle (Professional Wrestler), and Donald Glut best known for his script writing of GI Joe, Transformers, and the Novel The Empire Strikes Back. The Tim Russ band performed some of their amazing new songs and kept the crowd dancing to their awesome beats. Tim Russ is best known for his long running stint on Star Trek Voyager, as the ever-emotionless Vulcan Tuvok. Having moved into more of a directorial aspect in his career, he has time to be creative in not only the movie industry, but in his music as well. You may recently have seen him in his role on the television show iCarly, as Principal Franklin.

First, was the women's competition in which there were many interesting costumes to choose from. The crowd was very excited with all the options to vote for and the competition was close, but in the end Nefertiti the Egyptian won out. For the men's competition Reno 911 turned out to be the crowd favorite even winning out over a costume created by Lord of the Rings costume designer Ngila Dickson. The winners each received a $50.00 voucher for the Libertine or Burger Kitchen and software The Vegas Pro and Final Draft. The costume contest was a very competitive and exciting aspect of the event.

ITVFest also announced that they are taking their festival to a whole new level this next year, with the inclusion of Pop Con. The festival will now be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will include a four-day Pop Convention wrapped around the festival itself. There will be booths from film studios, celebrities, comics, and many other industries related to film and television. If you are a fan of Comic Con then you do not want to miss this all-new convention. There will be a fashion show directed by the talented Parris Harris, as well as live performances by some of today’s newest artists. Panels with directors, producers, actors, casting directors, and various screenings will also be available during the festival.
